I'm spending the whole weekend working. Woo. Only worked 9:30 to 1:30 today, though, so that's not too bad. But I have to work 11:30 to 6 tomorrow. Sundays are my least favorite days of the week to work-the store tends to be rather quiet in terms of customers and it often feels like the day just drags.
But then, after working for a few short hours Monday evening, I will have Tuesday through Friday off, so I'm thinking that will be a good time to get moving on some of the prompts on here. Yes  . I look forward to reading what everyone else comes up with, too.
My only concern is the drabble challenge-I want to do that one, and plan to, but I'm kind of a wordy person, and so narrowing a story down to 500 words or less is going to be a challenge for me in every sense of the word. But we shall see how that goes. I know that feeling. Glad you have some time off coming up. The drabble challenge, aha yes, it is a challenge in itself for me to write short things as well. I'm going to attempt to do a few of the prompts, but not sure how many I'll get done. |

It's interesting being in a job where you're likely to work at least part of, if not all of, the weekend-everyone else is like, "Yay, it's Friday!" and you're sitting there going, "...yeah, shut up." LOL. But yeah, I'm looking forward to the time off.
Glad I'm not alone in the issues with the drabbles  ! Here's hoping these prompts prove fruitful for us in the end!

All's well here-pretty uneventful. Just work, as usual. I have today and tomorrow off, though! (Work Sunday, but eh well.) Hope all's well with you in general as well .
I'm just wondering if the drabble thing is still planning on going, and if we should change the start date at all (or if you just want to go with it as is and post the first few days' worth of drabble prompts and let people catch up when possible). |

I BETCHA DID GREAT, WONDERWOMAN.
I'm good. Catching up on the art commissions (you gotta tell me what drawings you want done =D) and the prompts. I'm pretty sure posting the first chapters of all prompt stories is pretty much... procrastination-invoking, but mleh! I shall try to finish them first and then start the drabbles Dx

Also, school being a douchebag. 500 WORD GERMAN ESSAY YEAHW.

I did change the date due to overwhelming school stuff. I just realized I changed it to today. I think I'm going to change it to Sunday. All of you dealing with school stuff have my sympathies. argda, that essay sounds oh-so-fun! Good luck.
And I wouldn't know anything about procrastination, noooooo... Not like I've got a series lingering and pestering me to update it or anything. *Whistles* I'm going to work on it now, though. I also need to catch up on prompt stuff, too. Sigh. Maybe I should make a "to do" list or something to help me get organized... |

I need to find time to write a couple drabbles. If I post them on the web whether it be fanfiction, fictionpress or tumblr, I can link to the forum and use it as a recruit tactic maybe!
